Amazon drops prices on Echo, Fire & Ring devices ahead of bank holiday
Amazon has cut prices across its popular Alexa smart home speakers, Fire tablets and Ring security cameras ahead of the late May Bank Holiday. Here are the deals worth looking at, though you canhead on over to Amazonto peruse the discounts yourself.
Amazon Echo deals
The small but mightyEcho Dot 3, Amazon’s most affordable smart speaker,has a £20 discountmaking it even more affordable at £29.99. It’s not the cheapest we’ve seen it (it dropped to £24.99 in Black Friday 2019), but it’s still a welcome discount from the £49.99 RRP.
The slightly more expensiveEcho Dot with the integrated clockalso has £20 offwhich reduces the price to £39.99.
If you own an Echo Dot already and want to upgrade to bigger and better sound, the largerEcho 3is on offer too with £20 off, bringing the price to £69.99 from £89.99.
Amazon’s smart displays are also seeing price drops, with£20 off theEcho Show 5(5in display) and£40 off the larger 8inEcho Show 8.
Amazon Fire TV streaming deals
On the Fire TV front, theFire TV Stick has a cool £15 off, dropping the price to £24.99from £39.99. It’s an excellent addition if you want to convert your TV into a smart one and gain access to streaming apps like Disney Plus, Netflix, BBC iPlayer or Amazon’s own Prime Video. You will need a separate subscription to those services to access the content though.
While there aren’t any discounts on the 4K Fire TV stick, you can get£20 off the 4K Fire TV Cubewhich is essentially a hybrid of the Fire TV stick and Echo Dot smart speaker. The Cube costs £109.99 regularly but is now reduced to £89.99.
Amazon Fire Tablet deals
While there aren’t any Kindle e-reader deals, the next best offer comes on Amazon’s Fire tablets which include three-month access to Amazon Music Unlimited. Both the 16GB and 32GB Fire 7 tabletshave £10 off, dropping the prices to £39.99 and £49.99, respectively.
Prefer a larger screen with a higher resolution? The Fire HD 10 with 64GB has £90 off,dropping the price by 50% to £89.99.
Ring and Blink Security
Amazon’s home security devices are on offer too with£25 off the Blink XT2,£40 off the battery-operated Ring Spotlight Cam,£49 of the 5-Piece Ring Alarm with Ring Indoor Cam setand£50 off the Ring Floodlight Cam.
