Amazon Echo Show news – Release date, UK price and features
Earlier this summer Amazon surprised us with the announcement of theEcho Look, a new device in its Echo family that has a built-in camera and can act as your personal style assistant. Then it added another member to its line-up with the touchscreen Echo Show.

When is the Echo Show release date?
The Echo Show was announced in the US on Tuesday 9 May 2017, with pre-orders beginning immediately and the device shipping from 28 June.
At a special event on 27 September it announced that the Echo Show was also coming to the UK on 16 November, so it’s available toorder now.
How much does the Echo Show cost in the UK?
The Echo Show has a price tag of $229.99 in the US, but in the UK costs £199.99 – you can also get a pack of two and save £100 (use ‘SHOW2PACK’ after adding two to your basket). It’s available in black or white. Click here toorder Echo Show.
What is Echo Show?
The Show features a front-facing ‘room-filling’ speaker with Dolby audio processing, a camera and a 7in touchscreen, enabling it to do all the things theoriginal Echodoes but with a few additions:
• Watch video news broadcasts
• Watch YouTube videos
• View song lyrics from Amazon Music
• Monitor smart security cameras, baby monitors and video doorbells, including those from Ring and Arlo
• View weather forecasts
• Read shopping and to-do lists
• Video chat with others who have an Amazon Echo device or Alexa app
Eight mics, beam-forming technology and noise cancellation enable your instruction to be clearly heard even while music is playing.
