Amazon Father’s Day Deals: Huge Discounts on Echo & Fire
Amazon has launched anothermega sale across its devices. Last month, it dropped prices on Echo, Fire and Ring devices before the late May Bank Holiday, and now it’s discounts arrive just in time for Father’s Day which is onSunday, 21 June. It’s not calling it a Father’s Day sale, but let’s call a spade a spade.
Here’s what you can expect from the sale and how it compares to last month’s bank holiday deals.
Amazon Echo deals
For starters, theEcho Dot– Amazon’s smallest and most affordable Alexa-enabled smart speaker – has £20 off and isnow £29.99, mirroring last month’sbank holiday price.
The larger, more powerfulEcho 3 is now £54.99. This price is better than last month’s, when it was reduced to £69.99. The Echo 3 costs £89.99 otherwise.
TheEcho Plus2has an incredible £65 off, dropping the price to £74.99 from £139.99. This is the lowest it’s ever been.
The Plus is similar to the standard Echo 3 but offers better audio quality and additional ZigBee wireless support.
The ZigBee wireless standard is similar to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and allows communication between low-powered devices, like smart bulbs. The Echo Plus can work as a hub between different ZigBee-supported smart home devices even if they’re from different manufacturers.

Amazon Echo Show deals
TheEcho Show 8, Amazon’s smart display,has £30 offand is now £89.99 (reduced from £119.99).
The smallerEcho Show 5with a 5in display isnow £59.99, reduced from £79.99, which matches last month’s discount.
New to the Father’s Day sale is £45 off the largest Show device, the 10inEcho Showwith an HD display. It’snow reduced to £189.99 from £234.98– it’s not the cheapest it’s been, but it’s certainly a strong discount.
Amazon Fire streaming deals
Get discounts across the Fire streaming devices with£20 off Fire TV Stick,£10 off the Fire TV Stick 4K, and£20 off the Fire TV Cube(essentially a Fire TV stick and Echo Dot combined).
Last month’s deals only had £15 off the Fire TV Stick, while the 4K option didn’t have any discounts at all.
Amazon Fire tablet deals
Both the 16GB and 32GBFire 7 tablets have £10 off, like last month’s sale.
While the Fire HD 8 doesn’t have a discount now, you can get£10 off the the All-new Fire HD 8 Plus, on both the 32GB and 64GB options, which come with a wireless charging dock. You also get 3 months of Kindle Unlimited for free. This was not a part of May’s bank holiday sale.
