Amazon to start its biggest Black Friday sale yet on 16 November
Amazon is all set for itsbiggest Black Friday saleyet with ten days of discounts on electronics, toys, games, fashion, beauty and home products. Black Friday deals begin16 Novemberand end on the 25th.
The company will also be foregrounding its augmented reality “AR View” shopping experience where customers can use the Amazon App (available oniOSandAndroid) to visualize how products would look like at home in real time before making the purchase. AR View will also be available withPrime Wardrobe, allowing customers to virtually try on outfits before buying them.
In London, the company will be holding a “Home of Black Friday” pop up event at 3-10 Shoreditch High Street fromThursday 22 November to Sunday 25 November, where attendees can expect giveaways, workshops, samples and try out the AR View. Entry is open to everyone and free of charge, with activities available on a first come first served basis.

As with most Amazon sales, you can expect Lightning Deals, which are limited-time deals on products available in limited stock. Amazon will add new Lightning Deals every five minutes. Prime members, including those on the30-day free trial, can access Lightning Deals 30 minutes ahead of non-members.
Prime Now, Amazon’s express delivery service that promises free delivery within two hours within qualifying regions will also be offering Black Friday deals.Read more about Prime Now, including cost and available cities.
The company hasn’t made public what products are to go on sale, but will do so closer to the date. Deals will eventually go live on itsdesignated Black Fridaypage. In the meantime, keen shoppers can sign up forDaily Deals Emails. Customers can also shop via the Amazon App, and set up Watch-a-Deal alerts to get notifications on discounts once made available.
In the holiday spirit, Amazon shoppers can also choose to support a charity this Black Friday. Simplychoose an organization through AmazonSmileand continue shopping as you normally would, ensuring the URL starts with smile.amazon.co.uk.
