Apple TV Plus to offer bundle with CBS All Access and Showtime

Apple TV Plus is teaming up with ViacomCBS to offer a bundle with its subscription offering for the first time,Variety has reported. Customers who purchase Apple TV+ – at a cost of US$4.99 per month – will be able to get subscriptions to both CBS All Access and Showtime for around half the price of what both channels would cost at full price.

CBS All Accesscosts US$9.99 per month with no ads, whilstShowtimecosts US$10.99 per month. The bundle for AppleTV+ customers would give both streaming services for a total of US$9.99 per month, on top of the existing Apple TV+ subscription.

This news is currently only stated for the US – as CBS All Access and Showtime are both only available in this country. However, CBS All Access has been reported to rebrand over the coming year, and then eventually be distributed in Europe. If Showtime has the same treatment, it’s possible that we could see other bundles across the world from AppleTV+.

Whilst both channels are geolocked, there are ways to still watchCBS All Access and Showtime from the UKthrough the help of a VPN such asNordVPNorExpressVPN. CBS All Access currently airsStar Trek: Lower Decks, the newest animated show in the Star Trek universe.

If you’re in the UK, you cansign up for AppleTV+for £4.99 per month, or get 12 months included with any new Apple purchase, including the iPhone 11 range, Macs, iPads and more. You can see the full list ofqualifying products over on Apple’s website.
