Does Fall Guys support cross platform play?
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is the latest MMO battle royale game to take everyone by storm, with its Total Wipeout style challenges and cute little characters. But can you crossplay it?
The game is currently out now onSteam for PCandPS4– and we’ve done some digging to find out whether players on different game versions can still play together, or whether the game is exclusive to certain platforms.
You can also find out whether Fall Guys iscoming to Xbox and Switch here, and check whether or not theFall Guys servers are down right now.
Does Fall Guys support crossplay?
At the time of writing, sadly Fall Guys does not support crossplay between the PC and PS4. This means that if you have a friend who plays on Steam and you play on your Playstation (and vice versa) you won’t be able to play together.
However, not all hope is lost yet. The officialFAQ section on the Mediatonic website(the studio behind Fall Guys) states that whilst cross platform play isn’t yet available, it is something that the team is considering for the future, dependent on how much demand there is for it.
You can voice your support for crossplay by letting the Fall Guys team know either in theDiscord channel, orby tweeting.
If the game does come to other consoles such as the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch or next-gen consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X), then it’s possible that the team may work at crossplay at the same time. However, this is just speculation at the moment.
