With football fever sweeping the globe thanks to the Rio 2014 World Cup, let’s take a look at what FIFA 15 will have to offer when it comes out in a few months.
FIFA 15: Release date UK
EA’s official release date for the game is 23 September but in the UK, you’ll be able to get your hands on FIFA 15 as of26 September. It will be released on Xbox, PlayStation and PC so read on to find out what different editions there are and how much they cost.

FIFA 15: Editions and price
There are two different editions of FIFA 15 to choose from, the standard game and the ‘Ultimate Team Edition’. But what does the ultimate edition have we hear you ask. Well it adds the Adidas all star team, Adidas predator boot collection, three new goal celebrations from the off and more.

FIFA 15: Features
EA Sports says that FIFA 15 “brings football to life in stunning detail so you can experience the emotion of the sport like never before.” Here’s a look at some of the key and new features of FIFA 15.
The developer says that for the first time ever, players in the game will have memories and react to what’s happening in the context of the game. This means more than 600 new emotional reactions to things like bad tackles, missed chances and, of course, goals.
Dynamic match presentation includes improved commentary, chants and behaviours relevant to your club or country, new bench reactions, side line character animations and 10-man goal celebrations.
Teammates and opponents will now recognize what’s happening in the match and will adjust their tactics accordingly. ‘Park the Bus’, ‘In The Mixer’, and ‘Time Wasting’ are all included in FIFA 15.
As you would expect from a next-gen game, visuals are improved, according to EA. For example, player faces have a new level of detail and kits move realistically and get dirty as the match goes on. The pitch will also deteriorate over time with boot marks, slide tackles and debris. Corner flags move and goal frames shake adding to the experience.
Set piece control means you can adjust the position of players who are off the ball during throw-ins, corners, and free-kicks (above).
