Get £135 off Microsoft’s new Surface Laptop Go at Amazon
Microsoft’s own hardware typically holds its value extremely well, but that trend appears to have been bucked with the Surface Laptop Go.
For a limited time, get the i5 model with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD for just£764. That’s a saving of £135 on the RRP of a device that only came out a few weeks ago, and it will arrive in time for Christmas even if you’re not a Prime member. For comparison, theMicrosoft Storeis offering the same model for £809.Get this Surface Laptop 3 deal from Amazon now.
If you don’t need as much storage, the 128GB model with the same spec is down to£629with a £70 discount. The only configuration not to see a price drop is the entry-level £549 model, but almost everyone will need more than the 64GB SSD it offers.
Released in late October, theLaptop Gois the latest new addition to Microsoft’s ever-expanding Surface range. Following the successful implementation of the budget 2-in-1 Surface Go line, the company is repeating the trick for its traditional laptops.
The Laptop Go offers the same core experience as you’ll find on theSurface Laptop 3within a more compact 12.4in screen. The display is a slightly lower resolution and you lose out on backlit keys, but the bezels are actually slimmer than you’ll find on Microsoft’s flagship device.
Combining a 10th-gen i5 processor with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD makes this a perfect everyday laptop, while at 1.1kg it remains extremely portable. Its £899 starting price made it hard to justify picking over the Laptop 3 (from £999), but this big discount makes it a much more compelling purchase.
