Honor slashes £70 off MagicBook 14 & 15 laptops for spooky season
Honor has cut prices on its popular MagicBook 14 and 15 laptops by £70 – while throwing in a free gift too – as part of its season of ‘No tricks, just treats’ Halloween offers.
The offer seesboth sizes of MagicBook drop to £600, with the option to throw in a free backpack, sports headphones,Honor Band 5fitness tracker, orHonor Router 3– worth up to £80 depending on which you pick.
The models on sale are the recent updates to the MagicBook line, which pack in powerful Ryzen 5 4500U processors along with 8GB of RAM and 512GB storage.
We’re in the process of reviewing the updated MagicBooks, but the form factor is essentially identical to theoriginal MagicBookfrom earlier in the year. These older models simply user older, and slower, 3500U processors and only have 256GB storage. They cost £549 – meaning there’s currently only a £50 premium to get the latest processor and double the storage.
In any case, you’re getting a budget-friendly laptop that’s surprisingly lightweight and premium in its design, given the price. It still packs in proper USB-A ports, along with USB-C and HDMI, and has nippy 65W fast charging that beats many flagship laptops. The only real downside is the webcam, which sits under a fake keyboard key, and thus has a rather unflattering angle.
The MagicBook deals are the best of Honor’s Halloween sale, though the company is alsothrowing in free headphonesif you buy theWatch ESor Watch GS Pro. It’s also running a‘100 Hours of Survival’ competitionwith the chance to buy a Watch ES for just £1, plus £5 for shipping.
All the Halloween offers run onHonor’s webstoreuntil midnight on31 October, at which point it’s no longer spooky enough for slashers – of laptop prices or otherwise.
