How to get Office 2016 for £9.95
Microsoft Office 2016 has officially launched and there’s a chance you can get it for the tidy sum of just £10, with change.
“Office gives you the freedom to get work done from nearly anywhere on your favorite devices,” says Microsoft and while the software would normally cost £119 via a one-time purchase, instead of paying monthly forOffice 365, you might be about to get it for under a tenner.
How to get Office 2016 for £9.95 with the Home Use Program
Save more than £110 on Office 2016 by finding out if you’re eligible for the Home Use Program. This is ‘available to Microsoft volume licensing customers with active Software Assurance coverage on their Office applications.’
“Employees who use the covered licenses at work are eligible to purchase these Office applications for use on a personal device during the term of their employment. This temporary license expires with the employer’s Software Assurance coverage, or upon termination of employment with the covered organization.”
In a nut shell, if your employer is part of the scheme you can use your work email address in order to gain access.
What you need to do is simply clickthis linkand enter your work email address to find out if you’re eligible. Don’t worry if you don’t know the ‘program code’ as you can still proceed but you’ll need to get it from your Benefits Administrator – or perhaps someone in your HR or IT department.
If eligible, you can purchase a single license of either Office Professional Plus 2016 or Office Home and Business 2016 for Mac. This allows you to install it on one home computer – PC or Mac.
