How to Snooze Gmail Messages

Gmail now has the ability to snooze emails. This doesn’t snooze all incoming messages when you don’t want to be disturbed; rather, it hides away any messages you select until a time you specify. This can be handy if you’re not ready to action those emails just yet, but don’t want to lose them in the depths of your inbox.

The snooze feature is one of several new features rolling out to Gmail now, with other changes including messages that self-destruct after a certain time, an offline mode, and the ability to action emails without opening them. It’s possible you won’t see the new interface just yet, but if you want to try it just click the Settings cog and choose ‘Try the new Mail’. You can reverse this decision later if you decide you prefer the old setup.
