Mobvoi launches Earbuds Gesture with head gestures and noise isolation

The company behind the excellent TicWatch wearables, Mobvoi, has launched the Earbuds Gesture, a pair of true wireless earbuds with head gesture features.

Nodding twice when receiving a call will answer it, while shaking twice will reject it.

Mobvoi has previously released other earbuds such asTicPods 2 Pro. These new buds have a smaller charging case design but a bigger battery for the buds themselves, and the company claims they can last 10 hours on a single charge.

The buds are the company’s first black pair of earphones, with the design fairly AirPod-esque but with silicone tips to create a seal with your ear. There’s also dual-mic noise isolation to bring down the noise when on a call, but there is no active noise cancellation to block out external noise like you might find on more expensive products like AirPods Pro or Samsung Galaxy Buds Live.

With an IPX5 water and sweatproof rating the buds could be a good option for sports and the gym, provided they stay in your ears.

Mobvoi is launching the Earbuds Gesture onIndiegogo with a launch day special priceof just US$65. They will then go up to the RRP of $130.
