New Stadia games to be revealed in Stadia Connect tomorrow

Google is set to reveal “a few new games” coming to itsStadia streaming serviceduring a video update on YouTube tomorrow.

The newStadia Connect videowill run on theStadia YouTube channelat 5pm in the UK on Tuesday 28 April, and will be a chance “to hear from the team and see a few new games coming to Stadia.”

The tease comes just afterlast week’s announcementthat Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris and Kona are heading to Stadia this year. Google has promised over 120 games for Stadia this year, with more than 10 timed-exclusives. Marvel’s Avengers, The Elder Scrolls Online, and Superhot are all known to be on the way, but hopefully Google has some bigger announcements up its sleeve.

It’s all been change for Stadia recently. Earlier this month Google re-branded the free Stadia Base plan as plain ol’ Stadia, and made it open to anyone.

You still can’t play from any mobile device – and iPhone are still way out – but after launching only on Pixel phones it’ssince expandedto a variety of Samsung Galaxy phones, ROG and Razer gaming phones, and most recently the newOnePlus 8 and 8 Pro.
