HTC expands Vive Cosmos family with Play, Elite and XR MWC 2020 might not be going ahead anymore, but that hasn’t stopped HTC from revealing a new line of Vive Cosmos headsets at a variety of price-points. The modular aspect of the Vive Cosmos was one of the biggest selling points at launch back in 2019, but with no accessories to buy at the time, it was kind of moot. OnePlus 7T gets a $100 price drop The OnePlus 7T has just got a$100 price cut in the US directly from OnePlus. It’s down to $499 from $599 and might suggest OnePlus is ramping up to deliver the OnePlus 8 series. OnePlus confusingly does not sell the OnePLus 7T Pro in the US. Instead it sells a 5G version of the 7T Pro McLaren Edition, as well as older models the 7 Pro and the 6T....

Samsung will sell its foldable displays to other companies Samsung will supply its ultra-thin glass (UTG) display tech to other smartphone manufacturers,it said in a press release. The slightly misleading UTG branding (given that it is not entirely just glass) was first used commercially on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip that went on sale on 14 February. The announcement comes with Samsung’s new tagline for UTG, the utterly cringeworthy “tough, yet tender”, which also basically admits that yes, it contains glass, but also it’s really quite fragile still....
