Asus launches 14in ExpertBook B9 laptop with face recognition Asus has announced a refresh of its flagship ExpertBook B9, which it describes as the world’s lightest 14-inch business laptop. There really should be a ‘still’ in that claim as it’s the same 880g as its predecessor. With similar features to the previous model, the laptop now has a choice of 11th-gen Intel Core processors with Intel Iris X graphics. The newest features are AdaptiveLock proximity sensor, which enables fast logins, and also AI integrated noise-cancellation technology for clearer video calls, something that is particularly useful with the increase of remote working these days....

HTC CEO resigns after one year in the role HTC has announced the resignation of its President and CEO Yves Maitre after less than a year in the role. The Frenchman, who was unveiled as the Taiwanese company’s head on 17 September 2019, leaves just before his anniversary citing Covid-related travel restrictions. According toEngadget, HTC’s statement said that “the strict international travel restrictions due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic… have had an impact on” Maitre, who has seen little of his family back in Europe because of global travel restrictions during the pandemic....
