Android 11 and PS5 events cancelled by Google and Sony Google and Sony have cancelled launches related toAndroid 11andPlayStation 5in the wake of widespread civil unrest in the United States and around the world. On 30 May, Google tweeted its decision to postpone the public live stream officially unveiling its Android 11 operating system, saying “now is not the time to celebrate”, while the official PlayStation Twitter account said “we want to stand back and allow other voices to be heard”....

Apple pushes iOS 13.5.1 to block jailbreaking Apple has released the latest point updates of its iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch software including iOS 13.5.1 that blocks a recent exploit that allowed enthusiasts to jailbreak modern iPhones (via9to5Mac). It’s available for iPhone 6s and later, iPad Air 2 and later, iPad mini 4 and later, and iPod touch 7th generation. According toan Apple security page, 13.5.1 for iPhone and iPad contains a fix for the exploit found by the jailbreaking teamunc0veron 21 May that allowed people to successfully jailbreak devices running iOS 13....
