As expected, Samsung has announced its newwireless earbudsat the Unpacked 2020 event. You can get a free wireless charger if you pre-order the Galaxy Buds Live.

Probably the most odd-looking headphones we’ve ever seen aren’t some kind of weird joke Samsung is playing on us all. They’re a legitimate product that the Korean tech giant wants you to put in your ears.

Keen to sweeten the deal, Samsung is offering a free wireless charger to anyone whopre-orders the Galaxy Buds Liveahead of their21 Augustrelease date.

They cost£179in the UK, which is a little more than theGalaxy Buds+, and come in Mystic White, Mystic Bronze and Mystic Black colourways.

Across the pond, they areUS$169in the same colours but go on sale6 August.

Alternatively, perhaps if you already have a wireless charger, you could get the Buds Live for free if you pre-order theGalaxy Note 20 or Note 20 Ultra 5G.

The bean-shape Buds Live might look weird but Samsung says it means they don’t protrude from your ears.

They feature open-style ANC (active noise cancelling) along with three mics and a pickup unit. Those getting the Note 20 Ultra 5G can make use of those microphones on the earbuds to improve noise reduction while shooting video on the phone.
