Virgin Flash Sale: Free Echo Show 8 or £100 credit with broadband deal

If you’re in the market for a new broadband and TV plan, don’t miss Virgin’s current Flash Sale. Its “Ultimate Oomph” TV, broadband and unlimited SIM bundle now includes afree Amazon Echo Show 8 smart display worth £119. If you don’t want the Echo, you can also opt for £100 credit instead. The offer ends5 February, sohead on over to Virgin if you want to check it out now.

The Ultimate Oomph package costs £89 per month over 12 months (plus a £35 set-up fee) – it’s pricey but you do get value for your money. For starters, you get a broadband speed of 516Mbps, which is the fastest you’ll find in all of the UK (making it ideal for large households with multiple connected devices, who game heavily and who often stream in 4K). On the TV side of the bundle, you get over 271 channels along with premium channels like Sky Sports HD, Sky Cinema HD and BT Sports 4K.

The package includes an unlimited SIM too, which elsewhere would cost a minimum of £20 per month from other providers if you bought it on its own – with the exception of Three, which has anunlimited SIM-Only planthat costs £10 the first 6 months and then increases to £20 thereafter. Three’s plan locks you in for 24 months, though.

If you prefer a leaner package, check out Virgin’s Big Bundle + Drama bundle instead that alsoincludes a free Echo Dot 3. This plan includes 150 channels and broadband at speeds of 100Mbps, which is still fast enough for mid-sized households (ex. 5 people). The bundle costs £38 per month for 12 months –check it out.
